AlignRT®

What is AlignRT?

AlignRT® is a system that tracks a patient’s position before and during radiation therapy, to aid in setup and treatment accuracy. Using proprietary 3D stereo camera units, AlignRT tracks the skin's surface and compares it to the ideal position with submillimetric† accuracy. AlignRT can automatically signal for the treatment delivery system to pause radiation if the patient moves out of the desired position, and there is no need for tattoos or permanent marks.

AlignRT has been shown to help deliver this “optimal patient positioning”, across many different cancer treatment sites, and is commonly used for “Deep Inspiration Breath-hold”.  Vision RT systems are deployed in all 15 of the top 15 US News “Best Hospitals for Cancer*” and have been extensively studied with more than 100 published clinical studies. We have comprehensive interoperability and assured long-term collaboration with both major linac vendors.

Every patient, every fraction

AlignRT is safe, non-invasive and can be used for fast and accurate patient setup and monitoring for all forms of cancer, including breast, brain, lung, liver, sarcoma, head and neck, and other cancers.

Control the tech, focus on the patient

Reduced Treatment Time

AlignRT is proven to save time and reduce imaging. Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) reduced patient treatment time by 50%  due to less repeat imaging and more accurate initial setup with AlignRT.

Accuracy

There are multiple peer-reviewed papers that demonstrate how AlignRT enables sub-mm, and sub-degree accuracy through the entire treatment process across indications including DIBH, SRS, SBRT, pelvis and sarcoma.
