Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Accuracy is key in SRS. AlignRT delivers a linac-based frameless SRS solution which is proven to be accurate across several independent studies¹, used in many world-renowned cancer hospitals and has published patient outcomes data comparable to more invasive techniques².

Traditional intracranial SRS treatments can involve fixing large metal frames to the patient’s head or use claustrophobic full face masks which do not allow for monitoring of patient position or patient interaction with the therapist. AlignRT’s frameless solution with an open face mask and real-time position monitoring enables the high positional accuracy required for SRS, with a focus on patient wellbeing.

What is more, studies suggest that AlignRT-based SRS treatments are fast²,³ as well as comfortable. They may also be implemented as part of the standard treatment workflow without disrupting the clinic.
