Vision RT acquires Aurora, World Leader in Facial Recognition and Deep Learning AI techniques
25 April 2019. Vision RT, announced today the acquisition of Aurora Computer Services Limited, including Aurora-AI.
Aurora’s unique facial recognition technology has been proven through widespread use across multiple security-critical industries including pre-boarding checks and threat detection in UK airports, including Heathrow Airport, and beyond. Unlike other facial recognition techniques, Aurora’s robust solution does not require dedicated personnel to intervene regularly in the event of false matches.
Aurora’s expertise in AI, also encompassing analytics and modelling of complex systems, is now directly accessible by Vision RT, opening up exciting opportunities for future product development.
