University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB) receive Prestigious Commendation

Through the implementation of Vision RT’s SGRT solutions, UHDB NHS Foundation Trust achieved a remarkable milestone as the first-ever NHS hospital to eliminate tattoos from day one. This breakthrough achievement not only fulfilled the hospital’s goal of minimizing the psychological impact of tattoos but also enhanced operational efficiency, resulting in reduced patient waiting times.

Vision RT is pleased to announce that in partnership with UHDB, this work has been Highly Commended in the Health Service Journal Partnerships category at the national HSJ Awards 2023. The award category recognises the most effective partnerships, innovative projects and collaborations across the entire UK health system.
