About the Company:

Vision RT is a highly successful 3D medical imaging company based in North West London providing patient positioning and motion management solutions for radiotherapy.  Vision RT recently won two Queen’s Awards in 2016, and the ‘Technology Innovation of the Year’ award at the 2015 UK Private Business Awards.

Radiotherapy is used to treat a wide range of cancer patients. During treatment, controlled doses of high-energy radiation destroy cancer cells in the affected areas. It is essential to accurately position the patient before each treatment and monitor motion throughout to ensure that the planned dose is targeted correctly and as little healthy tissue as possible is affected.

Vision RT has developed a revolutionary, market-leading solution to the problems of patient setup and motion management, with unique, patented optical guidance technology.  The Company works closely with scientific and clinical centres of excellence around the globe and has forged strong alliances with the major industry vendors.

Service Sales Account Manager

Reporting to: Business Development Manager
Department: Sales
Location: 2 Work From home in the US – 1 on the East Coast, 1 on the West Coast

Around 50% of people will have a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime and half of these will undergo some form of radiotherapy. We have pioneered a revolutionary, market-leading 3D technology called Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), which combines proprietary camera hardware and software to track the patient with sub-mm accuracy throughout treatment. This enables patient comfort and safety and enhances the efficacy and efficiency of radiation therapy cancer treatment.

As the company, headquartered in London, UK, has grown, it has been privileged to collaborate with some of the world’s leading cancer centers and equipment vendors around the world including around 70% of the top cancer centers in the US.

In May 2018, William Demant Invest (WDI), a highly respected evergreen Danish Medtech investment company, acquired a majority shareholding in Vision RT. WDI is wholly owned by the William Demant Foundation, which is a charitable foundation that contributes c.15 million dollars per annum to charity and research. Vision RT is benefitting from the broader services, contracts, space and leadership within the WDI family, which employ more than 18,000 people worldwide with a total revenue of more than $3.3 billion. Vision RT Inc and the Americas:

The US market accounts for almost 50% of the global healthcare market and is the most significant region for Vision RT, currently accounting for more than two thirds of this year’s projected global revenues. The company has already established itself as market leader in this region with its technology installed on c.20% of all treatment machines (Linear Accelerators, or Linacs) in the US. This market sets the tone for clinical adoption worldwide as other countries watch how hospitals in the US adopt new technologies before following suit. It is therefore of critical importance to ensure Vision RT is positioned and managed appropriately to ensure continued growth and market leadership in this region.

Secondary to the US market, there are opportunities in Canada and Latin America (in particular in markets such as Brazil and Mexico) for expanding Vision RT’s footprint. To date, there has been very limited traction in these markets as we have focused almost exclusively on the US. During the medium to long term, it will be important to explore strategies to enter these additional markets, although the US will always be the main focus and priority.
