Vision RT is pleased to announce several new sales of its product in the USA.

Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston (MA) have purchased their fourth AlignRT® system which will be installed in a new treatment room in early 2008. They have also ordered a new GateCT® device for their CT scanner to be installed later this year. This will be the first GateCT® system to be deployed since receivng 510(k) clearance from the FDA.

Presbyterian Community Hospital, Whittier (CA) have ordered two systems. Additionally, a new AlignRT system has just been installed at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak (MI).

Two new systems have been sold to the University of California, San Diego (‘UCSD’). “At UCSD, we are very excited about working with AlignRT® for patient setup and surveillance on a range of treatments, including our many paediatric cases”, says Dr Steve Jiang, Director of Research, at the Moores Cancer Center, UCSD. We also plan to introduce GateCT® and GateRT® into clinical practice and to research advanced methods for modelling target motion with the Vision RT solution.”
