Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer

Reporting to: Global IT Manager

Radiotherapy is used to treat a wide range of cancer patients. During treatment, controlled doses of high-energy radiation destroy cancer cells in the affected areas. It is essential to accurately position the patient before each treatment and monitor motion throughout to ensure that the planned dose is targeted correctly and as little healthy tissue as possible is affected.

Vision RT has developed a revolutionary, market-leading solution to the problems of patient setup and motion management, with unique, patented optical guidance technology. About the Role: Software

Set up and maintain user accounts.
Provide troubleshooting resolution and updating/upgrading of software to the users.

Hardware

Setup and configure new and old systems.
Maintain user’s system peripheral equipment.
Assist Global IT Manager with IT Projects.
Keep a log on technical faults (support log).
Liaise with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract.

Network Management

Check daily backup records and escalate faults to the Global IT Manager as required.
Set up, maintain and remove user network accounts where appropriate.
Carry out routine network maintenance tasks and upgrades as advised by the Global IT Manager.

General Administration

  •  Produce & maintain IT statistics, reports and other documentation.
  •  Maintain stock levels and order IT stationary as and when required.
  •  Assist with the IT queries, log new tickets and prioritise key issues.
  •  Provide 1st line technical support to globally based internal users and visitors regarding hardware &

    software.

  •  Assist Global IT Manager with regular maintenance network, printers and telephone equipment.
  •  Testing new software and hardware platforms, before roll-out, accounting for any possible issues.

    Essential:

  •  Good IT knowledge and some hands-on experience of troubleshooting.
  •  Knowledge of hardware, systems software installation and support.
  •  Knowledge of current Microsoft Windows computer operating systems.
  •  Knowledge of PC hardware components and peripherals.
  •  Knowledge of standard business applications e.g. current Microsoft Office suites, popular web browsers, Microsoft O365.
  •  Willingness to learn new skills and keep abreast with new developments in software and hardware.
  •  Ability to work on his/her own initiative.
  •  Ability to travel and provide support to other branch offices.
  •  Good communication skills (verbal and written) with high quality interpersonal skills.
  •  Technical Support Experience: 1-2 years.

Title: Clinical Physicist

Director of Clinical Physics Product Delivery
US (Home Based)

Vision RT is seeking a driven medical physicist to provide key scientific and technical support across the business as it pertains to Surface Guided Radiation Therapy. In this role, the Clinical Physicist will work with the Director of Clinical Physics to provide support to Vision RT in multiple ways, including;

  • Work closely with Clinical Applications and Service to provide expert support and assistance to Vision RT customers.
  • Liaise with Research & Development to provide product feedback and recommendations for future product improvements and research initiatives from a physics perspective.
  • Provide expert physics support for external research collaborations with key customer sites and provide input to the SGRT community.
  • Develop and lead training classes for Vision RT physicist customers.
  • Provide expertise to the Quality department to aid with customer complaints and Health Hazard

    Evaluations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing ongoing support to customers in the utilization of Vision RT products.
  • Provide specialist remote and onsite technical and clinical support of our products.
  • Work in collaboration with sales and marketing to: speak at events, by telephone, online and live.
  • Attend exhibitions and provide sales support when required.
  • Create internal and customer-facing technical reports.

    Essential Skills:

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
  • 2-4 years clinical medical physics experience in Radiation Therapy.
  • Board certification desired.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%).

    Beneficial Skills:

As a Research Engineer you will be involved in:
• Research of new solutions and functionalities for Vision RT products;
• Parallel algorithms adaptation, design and implementation;

The Candidate:

Essential:

• Highly qualified graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar;

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Clinical Project Support Specialist to drive clinical input into the product development phases including provision of product feedback and recommendations for future improvements. This role will also be responsible for clinical and training deliverables as part of product development and project releases, roll out of any new product releases to the broader clinical applications team, and developing technical publications and training for Clinical Applications Specialists and customers alike. Some customer training support will be required to keep product knowledge and customer needs knowledge as up to date as possible.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide clinical guidance to Product Delivery teams throughout product development life cycle
  • Testing design and coordination
  • Input on required / suggested improvements on new and current products based on feedback from Clinical Applications and customers
  • Responsible for Clinical Support Plan and supporting activities within such for all Vision RT projects

  • Overseeing new product documentation from a Clinical Applications perspective
  • Develop customer documentation and training programs
  • Lead role in corrective action process for issues relating to clinical application
