Marketing Communications Manager

Reporting to: Marketing Operations Manager

The Candidate:

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Communications Manager to join our successful and rapidly-growing team. This position is a rare opportunity to work in a dynamic role that seamlessly blends content, marketing and PR.

About the Role:

You will oversee the production and coordination of communications for two global brands: Vision RT & the SGRT Community. This includes events, activities and updates from both brands: such as tradeshows, speaker events and dinners, webinars, product releases or changes, and more.

Additionally, you will manage the upkeep and improvement of both brand websites, and, and creating brochures and flyers.

The role will involve some international travel.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to a high-performance culture by bringing proactive, innovative, relevant ideas to the marketing and sales teams
• Expand and manage an extensive global communications calendar; producing, managing and sending communications scheduled around events, releases and updates
• Manage a team of suppliers, graphic designers, photographers and videographers to produce digital and physical collateral
• Excellent organizational and data management skills
• Work alongside the team to update two branded websites; improving, creating and inputting copy and video content
• Responsible for management of the marketing automation platform from an operational perspective and tailor content to audience segments
• Write press releases and liaise with third parties with some pitching and PR
• Work alongside global sales teams to hit lead targets and communicate relevant activity from ‘hot’ leads
• Report the outcomes of communications to the wider organisation, using metrics to constantly improve and refine communications strategy
Work with the team to ensure the development, creation and delivery of campaigns are in line with the communications calendar, objectives and budget

Skills, Capabilities and Knowledge:


• 3+ years’ success in marketing communications
• Detailed knowledge and experience of direct and digital marketing across multiple routes to market
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Marketo, WordPress and other digital platforms such as LinkedIn advertising, Adwords and leading webinar platforms
• Excellent technical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as part of a small and fast-paced team
• A positive and proactive team player
• A proven history of delivery of high-performing marketing campaigns and materials.


• Experience in medical communications (particularly involvement in oncology)
• Familiarity with online platforms such as WordPress, On24 and Google Analytics
• Graphic design skills

Manager of Strategic Alliances

Role Overview:

In this role, the Manager of Strategic Alliances will be responsible for managing complex alliances within the Radiation Oncology ecosystem, playing a key role in driving Vision RT’s strategic growth plans.  Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Nurture strong relationships with key partner stakeholders to identify and execute mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Maximize value for our channel partners while minimizing risk
  • Use best practices for Alliance Management to ensure Vision RT is a partner of choice
  • Identify and develop new partnering opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively monitor all aspects of partner interactions and identify potential issues and possible resolutions; gain internal alignment and take accountability for closure
  • Ensure jointly agreed strategies and decisions are implemented at the operational level and that plans and actions are consistent with alliance agreements
  • Main point of contact for partner questions and concerns; communicate clearly partner needs within Vision RT and Vision RT needs to partner organizations
  • Design optimal governance structures for new alliances and evaluate and maintain governance for existing partnerships
  • Work with Vision RT marketing and alliance partners to maximize impact and reach of educational opportunities provided through SGRT Community

Essential Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
  • 3-5 years of experience in alliance or partnership management
  • Thorough understanding of various contract terms and contract structures such as licensing, OEM, distribution agreements, etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering on alliance objectives Experience working in geographically dispersed teams and partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, good coaching and influencing skills, strong active listening skills and ability to formulate and articulate decisions and actions in clear business language
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%)

Beneficial Skills:

  • Certification from ASAP (CA-AM or CSAP) or equivalent
  • Background in Radiation Oncology; experience with SGRT technology
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and partner products in Radiation Oncology
  • Experience managing white label, OEM or authorized generic partner products
